Chungnam Province accelerates 202 trillion won high-tech investment support

Chungnam Province held its second task force meeting to oversee the implementation of a 202 trillion won high-tech industry investment plan. The province is implementing a rapid administrative support system to assist major investors, including Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Samsung SDI, and SK Telecom.

The task force focuses on five key areas: corporate cooperation, permit support, infrastructure development, workforce support, and financial assistance. By utilizing dedicated project managers and inter-agency collaboration, the province aims to eliminate administrative delays in power, water, and transportation infrastructure.

Early results of this accelerated administration include the reduction of permit processing times for Samsung Electronics' Onyang Campus from ten months to three months, and the shortening of permit periods for Samsung Display's Asan Display City 2 from four months to one month.
