Chungnam Provincial Office of Education hosts 2026 school sports competition

The Chungnam Provincial Office of Education is hosting the 2026 Chungnam School Sports Club Competition from May 5 to May 6. The event aims to expand student participation in physical activities and foster a healthy school culture through voluntary sports engagement.

A total of 339 schools, including 165 elementary, 107 middle, and 67 high schools, are participating with 7,593 students. The competition features various disciplines, including regional specialties such as unicycles and elementary track and field festivals. Winning teams will represent Chungnam at the 19th National School Sports Club Festival scheduled for later this year.
