Chunichi Dragons prepare new coaching staff under Kimiyasu Kudo

The Chunichi Dragons are moving forward with staff appointments following the decisive decision to appoint Kimiyasu Kudo as the new manager. The club is reportedly working to recruit former player Kazuki Yoshimi as a pitching coach. Yoshimi, a former two-time wins leader known for his precision control, previously served as a pitching coach for Samurai Japan.

Additionally, Ryosuke Morioka, who served as an infield defensive and base running coach for Rakuten this season, is being considered for a pitching coach role.

In anticipation of the new leadership, players and club officials have reportedly been studying Kudo’s baseball theories and management philosophy through his YouTube appearances. Commentators have noted that the team possesses strong foundational talent, suggesting the new management could lead the club back to a top-three standing in the league.
