Chunky Panday discusses Bollywood nickname on television

Actor Chunky Panday shared insights into his nickname, the ‘aloo’ (potato) of the film industry, during an episode of ‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’. He explained the moniker by stating that, much like a potato in a mixed vegetable dish, his presence in any film helps make it a hit.

The episode featured various participants, including Karisma Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, and Samir Soni. Panday, who rose to fame in the late 1980s with films such as ‘Tezaab’ and ‘Aankhen’, is also well known for his role as Aakhri Pasta in the ‘Housefull’ franchise.
