Chunta Aragonesista seeks broad coalitions for 2027 elections

The Chunta Aragonesista (CHA) party has announced plans to initiate contact with various political groups to form broad coalitions for the 2027 municipal and general elections. During a National Committee meeting in Zaragoza, CHA President Jorge Pueyo stated the goal is to create a candidacy that transcends partisan interests to represent the voice of Aragon in Madrid.

Pueyo emphasized the need for a single progressive and Aragonese ballot to prevent votes from being lost and to counter the policies of the Partido Popular and Vox. He identified key issues for this potential coalition, including housing, healthcare, education, land management, and the preservation of rural villages against what he described as speculation and privatization.
