Church of Our Lady of Frydek to receive pilgrimage status

The Church of Our Lady of Frydek in Trzycatki, Poland, is set to be officially designated as a pilgrimage site. The announcement will coincide with the traditional Three Nations Pilgrimage, held near the border intersection of the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia in the Beskydy mountains.

On Saturday, August 22, the event will feature a mass celebrated in three languages, attended by bishops from three neighboring dioceses. Pilgrims from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia will gather for the ceremony, which includes prayers for peace and a Marian procession. The local parish has noted an increasing number of visitors to the area due to growing interest in Our Lady of Frydek and the popularity of the Trójmiasto (Three Borders) region as a tourist destination.
