CHVRCHES announce new album ‘All The King’s Men’ and 2027 tour

Scottish synth-pop trio CHVRCHES has announced their fifth studio album, ‘All The King’s Men’, scheduled for release on January 22, 2027, via Futures Music Group. This marks the band’s first full-length project in nearly six years following 2021’s ‘Screen Violence’.

Moving away from their signature electronic sound, the 11-track album is described as a collection of emotionally vivid indie rock. The band—comprising Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook, and Martin Doherty—recorded the material through intensive in-person sessions in Glasgow, rather than the remote working method used for their previous record. The new sound draws inspiration from acoustic instruments and various British musical and cinematic influences.

To support the release, the band will embark on an extensive international tour throughout 2027, covering North America, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. The tour is set to begin in February, with dates spanning cities such as Philadelphia, Toronto, Glasgow, Dublin, and London.
