Cia. Apocalíptica to perform at FESTA theater festival in Santos

The Rio Preto-based theater company Cia. Apocalíptica will participate in the 68th edition of FESTA (Festival Santista de Teatro) in Santos. The company is scheduled to present the production “Madame Curie” on August 21.

Directed by Lawrence Garcia with a script by Stella Tobar, the play explores the life of scientist Marie Skłodowska-Curie. The performance utilizes various artistic elements, including puppets, shadows, clowning, live music, and scientific experiments conducted before the audience to depict Curie's pioneering research on radioactivity and her Nobel Prize-winning achievements.
