CIA Director reportedly warns Russia against attacking Baltic NATO states

Reports indicate that CIA Director John Ratcliffe made an unexpected visit to Moscow, during which he reportedly warned Russia against attacking NATO members, specifically targeting Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Flight tracking data showed a U.S. Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster III landing at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport on August 26, having previously traveled from Maryland via Riga, Latvia.

In the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine, former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has expressed concerns that Ukraine is gradually losing the conflict. Fedorov cited a lack of a comprehensive victory vision, deep-seated corruption, and a shortage of interceptor missiles as critical vulnerabilities. He emphasized the urgent need for AI-driven drones and domestic ballistic missile programs to shift the war's momentum.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continue to exert pressure on key Ukrainian industrial hubs, including Kostyantynivka, Kramatorsk, and Sloviansk. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed new military commanders to oversee the defense of the Donetsk region's industrial belt.
