Ciça Müller Named PDT Candidate for Santa Catarina State Legislature

The PDT confirmed councilwoman Ciça Müller as its candidate for the Santa Catarina State Assembly during a party convention in Florianópolis. A resident of Balneário Camboriú for over four decades, Müller has a background in community work, entrepreneurship, and public service, including a term as a city councilor and a role as Special Prosecutor for Women.

During the first half of 2026, Müller authored and facilitated several municipal laws in Balneário Camboriú. Notable measures include the designation of the Instituto Su Pedroza and the Árvore da Vida organization as public utilities, a law declaring the Festa da Tainha an intangible cultural heritage, and a proposal to introduce salt‑water fish into public school meals to support local artisanal fisheries. Her legislative focus has been on protecting women, strengthening the third sector, preserving local culture, and promoting sustainable development.
