Ciampino dog attack leaves three women in critical condition

An American Staffordshire Terrier attacked three women inside an apartment in Ciampino, Italy, around 13:00. The victims – a 35‑year‑old owner, her 55‑year‑old mother and an elderly grandmother – suffered deep facial and arm wounds. Police and emergency services arrived after hearing screams, and the three were rushed in red code to the Policlinico Tor Vergata for intensive care. The dog was seized by the veterinary service of ASL Roma 6, and police investigations are ongoing to determine why the animal became aggressive.
