Ciara showcases pregnancy on Junya Watanabe runway in Paris

Singer Ciara made a high-profile appearance at Paris Fashion Week, walking the runway three times for designer Junya Watanabe’s Spring/Summer 2027 show. The 40-year-old artist, who is expecting her fifth child, used the platform to showcase her pregnancy through avant-garde maternity fashion.

Her runway looks featured a consistent base of purple leggings and a matching crop top with pink accents. Variations included a beige trench coat, a deconstructed black leather jacket with silver beaded cords, and a dramatic chandelier-style headpiece with cascading crystals. Ciara expressed that walking the Paris runway had been a long-held dream and noted her initial concern that her pregnancy might not align with the designer’s vision.

Following the runway show, Ciara attended the Business of Fashion 500 Gala at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris. For the event, she wore a sheer black Dolce & Gabbana lace dress that also highlighted her baby bump. The pregnancy was recently announced by Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, on September 6.
