Ciata Stevens d’Almeida appointed PYPP executive director

Ciata Stevens d’Almeida has become the first female executive director of the President’s Young Professionals Program (PYPP) in Liberia. Her appointment in April 2022 follows a career path that began with internships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of State.

D’Almeida, a political science graduate from the University of Liberia, previously served as a PYPP fellow. She was the first fellow from the program to complete a fellowship in New York, where she worked at the Liberian Mission to the United Nations focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
