Cibao FC defeats Mount Pleasant FA in Caribbean Cup match

Cibao FC of the Dominican Republic defeated Mount Pleasant FA 2-1 in a Concacaf Caribbean Cup match held at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

In the match, Diego Ledesma gave Cibao FC the lead in the 43rd minute by redirecting a shot into the lower right corner. Although Mount Pleasant FA equalized in the 69th minute through a long-range strike by substitute Nickalia Fuller, Cibao FC secured the victory with a decisive goal in the 80th minute.

The result follows an earlier scoreless draw between the two clubs during the tournament's second matchday. Both teams are competing in Group D of the competition.
