Cibeles de Cine concludes 11th edition in Madrid

The eleventh edition of Cibeles de Cine, a summer film cycle held at the CentroCentro Crystal Gallery, has concluded after attracting more than 35,000 spectators. The final event featured a sold-out sing-along screening of La La Land to mark its tenth anniversary.

The festival has become a significant gathering point for Spanish cinema, hosting various industry figures for presentations and discussions, including director Rodrigo Sorogoyen, actress Vicky Luengo, and producer Agustín Almodóvar. The programming included the national premiere of Bad Apples, starring Saoirse Ronan, alongside specialized cycles such as TCM Nights for classics, Aeterna for fantasy and horror, and RompeMadrid for action and adventure.

Organized by the Madrid City Council as part of its summer cultural programming, the event also featured the aerial exhibition ‘Un país de puro cine’, a collection of portraits celebrating Spanish cinema figures.
