Heavy rainfall in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, caused significant flash flooding on Mayor Oking Street on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The floodwaters submerged the roadway in both directions, paralyzing traffic and causing numerous motorcycles to stall after engines were inundated by water.

Local authorities from the Bogor Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) reported that the flooding occurred in the Pabuaran residential area. The agency indicated that the incident was likely caused by clogged drainage systems and a breached embankment, with water levels reaching up to one meter.

Witnesses reported that the flooding occurred suddenly during intense rainfall. BPBD personnel were deployed to the site to manage water suction and mitigate the impact of the standing water.
