Cibubur truck accident leaves one dead after driver runs red light

A fatal multi-vehicle pileup occurred in the Cibubur area of Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, on Monday morning around 04:30 WIB. The accident was triggered when a truck, driven by an individual identified as M, allegedly ran a red light while traveling from north to south on Jalan Raya Bogor.

The truck collided with a Honda Brio, causing the car to lose control and strike three motorcycles. The collision resulted in the death of a motorcyclist, identified as AT, at the scene. Several other individuals sustained various injuries, including bruises and abrasions.

Police have arrested the truck driver, M, and the East Jakarta Metro Police have secured all involved vehicles for further investigation.
