Cibus 2027 trade fair reaches 92% capacity
Fiere di Parma has announced that 92% of the exhibition space for Cibus 2027 is already occupied, seven months ahead of the event scheduled for May 4–6, 2027. During a promotional event in Paris, organizers revealed that the fair is expected to host 3,000 brands and 3,500 buyers from 80 countries, with a specific focus on South Korea.
The exhibition will feature 18 Italian regions and over 50 certified producers (DOP, IGP, and STG). Key sectors for the 2027 edition include coffee, bakery, confectionery, and the Horeca sector, including commercial catering and onboard services for aircraft and cruises.
Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma, emphasized that global competition requires market infrastructures capable of supporting internationalization. The announcement comes as Italy maintains its position as the fourth largest exhibition power globally and the second in Europe, contributing significantly to the country's economy and employment.
