Cibus trade fairs announce upcoming editions in Italy

The Cibus agri-food trade fair has reached 92% exhibition space booking for its 2027 edition, scheduled for May 4–6 at Fiere di Parma. The event is expected to host 3,000 brands and 3,500 international buyers from 80 countries, with a specific focus on South Korea. The fair will highlight Italian regional specialties, PDO, PGI, and TSG certified products, involving 18 Italian regions and over 50 consortia.

Additionally, the University of Parma and the Tecnopolo di Parma will participate in Cibus Tec 2026, held from October 27–30 at Fiere di Parma. Under the “Tasting Innovation” format, the event aims to bridge the gap between academic research and the food and beverage industry. Key areas of focus include food process optimization, sustainable packaging, automation, digital technologies, and the circular economy.
