cibX GmbH introduced a modular device‑management system that provides real‑time location tracking, centralized data on maintenance schedules, usage history and cost allocation for medical equipment in hospitals. The platform aims to reduce search times, prevent equipment downtime and optimise resource utilisation across German clinics.

At the same time, German hospitals are confronting growing volumes of diagnostic data, especially from high‑resolution imaging and monitoring systems. The Hospital Future Act (Krankenhauszukunftsgesetz) earmarks €4.3 billion to modernise IT infrastructure, improve data pipelines and enable faster, data‑driven diagnoses. Efficient data handling and integrated platforms are seen as essential to meet the demand for rapid clinical decisions.
