CID raids KPSC member Shanta Hosamani’s residence

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) conducted a raid at the Davanagere residence of Shanta Hosamani, a member of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). The operation is part of an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities regarding the recruitment of veterinary officers.

Officers searched the premises, which had reportedly been vacant for eight months, looking for documents or evidence related to illegal transactions or files connected to the recruitment scam. The investigation follows serious allegations that qualified candidates were bypassed to fill positions through illicit means. The government has entrusted the CID with the probe, which has already included questioning several high-ranking officials and members.
