Cieplice sanatorium: Man arrested for impersonating massage therapist

A 56-year-old man has been arrested in Cieplice, Lower Silesia, after allegedly impersonating a massage therapist at a sanatorium to commit sexual misconduct.

During a weekend in August, the suspect entered a room occupied by two guests, claiming to be a staff member hired to provide massages. According to police, while performing a massage on one woman, the man touched her in intimate areas. The victim protested, prompting the suspect to flee the room.

Following an investigation of CCTV footage, officers from the Jelenia Góra police station identified and apprehended the man while he was riding a motorcycle in the spa area. He has been charged with performing an illegal sexual act and is currently under police supervision. He faces up to eight years in prison if convicted.
