CIFTIS 2026 concludes in Beijing with over 1,200 achievements
The 2026 China International Fair for Service Trade (CIFTIS) has concluded in Beijing, marking significant achievements in the global service sector. The event featured over 1,200 achievements across seven categories and included participation from more than 1,830 offline companies and 5,300 online companies. Exhibitors represented 90 countries, regions, and international organizations.
Key highlights included the establishment of a “China Service” case demonstration area, where approximately 40 percent of the content focused on intelligence-driven technologies such as artificial intelligence and large language models. Major global corporations, including GE Healthcare, Schneider Electric, and KPMG, showcased innovations ranging from high-level imaging equipment to digital solutions.
International cooperation was a central theme, evidenced by the Norwegian delegation signing six cooperation agreements with Chinese institutions. Additionally, 36 major projects across 12 industrial sectors, including intelligent manufacturing and modern services, were signed during the “Invest in Beijing” promotion meeting. The fair underscored China's growing role in service trade, with its service imports and exports increasing by 8.3 percent in the first seven months of the year.
