Cigarette vending machines vandalized in German towns

In Erbenheim, a district of Wiesbaden, a cigarette vending machine was broken into and looted. Police investigations are ongoing.

In the Ostalbkreis area, a cigarette vending machine on Ludwig‑Bölkow‑Straße in Durlangen was exploded with a firework device during the early hours of Saturday. The damage was estimated at around €3,700; the vandals did not reach the cash compartment or the tobacco products. Police are asking witnesses to call the Lorch police post at 07172 7315.

Both incidents are being treated as vandalism and theft cases, and authorities are seeking information from the public.
