Cigna Group reaffirms 2026 outlook and unveils personalization strategy
The Cigna Group has reaffirmed its 2026 financial outlook and introduced a new strategic vision titled ‘Lead to One,’ which focuses on delivering personalized healthcare at scale. The company aims to target complex care needs, noting that while only 8% of patients have complex conditions, they account for approximately 55% of healthcare spending.
To support this transition, Cigna announced a $3 billion multi-year initiative dedicated to modernization and productivity. The company’s growth framework is built upon three pillars: delivering core growth across Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth’s service platforms, leveraging complex care capabilities through data and AI, and maintaining operational excellence through disciplined capital deployment.
Financially, Cigna reaffirmed its 2026 adjusted earnings-per-share guidance of at least $30.45. The company also reiterated a long-term target of 10% to 14% average annual adjusted EPS growth through 2030. Additionally, the Cigna Group Foundation launched a new $10.5 million, three-year grant program to support patients and caregivers by addressing non-clinical barriers to treatment.
