Cihan Taş seeks support for seventh scoliosis surgery

Cihan Taş, an 11-year-old boy from Adana, Turkey, is seeking financial support for his seventh surgery to treat severe congenital scoliosis. Despite undergoing six previous operations since the age of 3.5, his spinal curvature has continued to progress, causing him significant difficulty breathing and moving.

His family has launched a governorate-approved fundraising campaign to fund a specialized procedure involving 'self-growing rods.' This specific surgery, which is only available at certain private hospitals, is necessary to allow his bones to continue developing properly. Cihan, who aspires to become a doctor to help other children with similar conditions, currently suffers from pain and breathing difficulties that impact his daily life.
