CII to host Green Steel and Mining Summit 2026 in Raipur

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will host the 5th edition of the Green Steel and Mining Summit 2026 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on August 12-13. The international conference and exposition aims to explore innovative technologies, policy frameworks, and best practices to support India's green transition within the steel sector.

The event is expected to host over 400 delegates from India and several other nations, including Finland, Brazil, South Africa, and Sweden. Key attendees include Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with Commerce & Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan and Finance Minister OP Chaudhary.

The summit will feature eight technical sessions and panel discussions led by over 40 speakers. Topics will include low-emission steel pathways and global case studies on low-carbon production. Additionally, a technology exposition will showcase more than 50 clean energy solutions, bringing together over 70 industries, including steel producers, researchers, and NGOs.
