CII–IGBC to host Green Building Congress 2026 in Mumbai

The CII–Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) will host the 24th annual Green Building Congress from November 26–28, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The event aims to address India’s rapid urbanisation and infrastructure expansion by exploring ways to accelerate the adoption of green building solutions and transition toward net zero built environments.

The congress will convene government officials, industry leaders, finance professionals, and academia to focus on low-carbon and climate-resilient development. This comes as India’s green building ecosystem has expanded significantly over the last 25 years, with the IGBC now overseeing more than 20,000 registered projects covering 16.33 billion square feet.
