Écija sewage networks cleaned ahead of Real Feria

In preparation for the Real Feria de Écija, Aqua Campiña has completed preventive cleaning and inspection of the water supply and sewage networks in the fairgrounds and the nearby La Alcarrachela neighborhood.

During the intervention, workers addressed 145 storm drains, 3,425 meters of sewage pipes, and 38 inspection wells. Approximately 265 kilograms of waste and accumulated materials were removed from the network. The maintenance aims to minimize the risk of incidents and ensure the proper evacuation of wastewater and rainwater during the festival, especially in the event of rain. The work was carried out using specialized sanitation trucks equipped with high-pressure water propulsion and suction systems.
