CIM Seridó unified public exams delayed beyond original schedule

The unified public exam process organized by the Intermunicipal Multifinality Consortium of the Seridó Region (CIM Seridó) has fallen behind its established schedule. As of September, official notices (editais) have not yet been released, despite a timeline approved in April that anticipated exams being conducted in August.

The delay follows a setback in the contracting of the organizing body. While the consortium aimed to finalize the contract by the end of April, the selection of Instituto Igeduc was only ratified on June 15, with the formal contract signed on June 24.

The scope of this shared exam includes several municipalities and legislative chambers, specifically Acari, Santana do Seridó, Parelhas, and Jucurutu, as well as the chambers of Acari, São João do Sabugi, Santana do Seridó, and Cerro Corá. Currently, the official pages for these exams remain marked as ‘Coming Soon’ without specific details regarding vacancies or registration dates.
