Cimahi City faces Rp74 billion budget deficit in 2026
Cimahi City in West Java is projected to face a budget deficit of Rp74 billion in its 2026 revised Regional Budget (APBD). The projected revenue stands at Rp1.429 trillion against an expenditure of Rp1.503 trillion.
Vice Mayor Adhitia Yudisthira stated that while expenditures and financing are being adjusted to match regional financial capabilities, the salaries for Civil Servants (ASN) remain secure. The budget adjustments follow an audit by the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK), which necessitated a Rp131 billion adjustment in regional financing components. The local government aims to maintain development priorities and public welfare despite the fiscal constraints.
