CIMAT launches Alto Tâmega e Barroso 2040 strategy

The Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega e Barroso (CIMAT) has announced several strategic initiatives during a meeting in Valpaços. The council has decided to award the title of Ambassador of Alto Tâmega e Barroso to two new regional personalities to recognize their contributions to the territory's international projection. The ceremony will take place on September 23.

Additionally, CIMAT is preparing for the second edition of the BIO-Region Forum, which will be held at the Luís Teixeira Art and Culture Auditorium in Valpaços. The event aims to bring together various stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities of sustainable development within the bio-region.

Finally, the council has launched the development of the Alto Tâmega e Barroso 2040 Strategy. This document is intended to define the region's strategic priorities for the coming years and prepare the territory for upcoming community programming and funding cycles.
