Cimo-Fesmed warns of regressive terms in medical contract negotiations

The Cimo-Fesmed federation has expressed concern regarding the ongoing negotiations for the 2025-2027 medical and healthcare management contracts. While the government, regional authorities, and Aran aim to finalize the agreement by autumn, the union warns that recent draft texts contain regressive changes.

Guido Quici, president of Cimo-Fesmed, stated that the latest versions presented to unions include unacceptably backward steps that fail to adequately recognize the roles and responsibilities of healthcare professionals. The federation emphasized that the desire to conclude negotiations quickly must not result in a low-quality compromise that undermines regulatory standards.
