Cincinnati Bearcats players earn preseason All-America honors

Cincinnati Bearcats players Evan Tengesdahl and Max Fletcher have received national recognition ahead of the 2026 college football season. Tengesdahl, an offensive lineman, was named to the Pro Football Network 2026 Preseason All-America Second Team. He enters the season following a highly rated 2025 campaign where he was recognized as a top interior lineman in the Big 12.

Punter Max Fletcher earned Third-Team All-America honors from Pro Football Network. Fletcher, a Melbourne, Australia native, previously earned All-Big 12 honors after averaging 45.4 yards per punt in 2025.

Additionally, Tengesdahl was included in The Athletic’s annual ‘freaks list’ compiled by Bruce Feldman, which highlights exceptionally strong and athletic players. Feldman noted Tengesdahl’s significant physical metrics, including a 425-pound bench press and a 615-pound back squat.
