Cincinnati Bengals overcome halftime deficit to defeat Baltimore Ravens
The Cincinnati Bengals secured a 35-13 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, rebounding from a 13-0 halftime deficit to score five touchdowns in the second half. Quarterback Joe Burrow led the comeback with four touchdown passes in the latter half of the game, including a 6-yard pass to Mike Gesicki and a 13-yard score to Tee Higgins.
Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase attributed the turnaround to a passionate halftime speech, stating he was “screaming” at his teammates to take responsibility for the offense. Chase noted that the team struggled in the first half with limited possessions and excessive pressure on Burrow.
The loss marks the second consecutive divisional defeat for the Ravens, who played without Lamar Jackson. The Bengals improved their record to 4-2, while the Ravens fell to 4-3.
