Cincinnati Reds activate Nick Lodolo and select Michael Toglia
The Cincinnati Reds have made several roster moves, including activating left-handed pitcher Nick Lodolo from the 15-day injured list. Lodolo returns to the rotation for a Tuesday start against the Chicago White Sox after recovering from a finger blister.
To accommodate these changes, the Reds optioned right-hander Zach McCambley and infielder/outfielder Ivan Johnson to Triple-A Louisville. Additionally, the team selected the contract of first baseman/outfielder Michael Toglia from Triple-A.
These moves follow the decision to transfer right-hander Hunter Greene to the 60-day injured list. Greene is scheduled to undergo season-ending elbow surgery this week.
