Cincinnati Reds make roster moves with Sam Moll and Carlos Jorge

The Cincinnati Reds have made several roster adjustments. The team designated left-handed pitcher Sam Moll for assignment following the activation of right-handed pitcher Graham Ashcraft from the 60-day injured list. Moll, a veteran with the Reds organization since 2023, posted a 4.79 ERA over 56.1 innings this season.

In addition to the pitching changes, the Reds have called up 22-year-old outfielder Carlos Jorge from the minor leagues. Manager Terry Francona praised Jorge’s energy as the young player from the Dominican Republic joins the roster for a September evaluation period.
