Cindy Bailey defends husband Darren Bailey against Pritzker campaign ads

Cindy Bailey defended her husband’s character, stating that he respects her independence and that they make decisions together as a family. She also addressed the role of women in society, expressing respect for mothers who choose to stay at home and asserting that a woman’s worth is not determined by whether she works outside the home.

The gubernatorial race features incumbent JB Pritzker seeking a third term. If successful, Pritzker would be the first Democrat elected to the office three times. Darren Bailey, a former Illinois lawmaker and farmer, is the Republican challenger.
