Cine Lido undergoes renovation to become a performance venue

The Cine Lido, an iconic street cinema in Curitiba, is undergoing a transformation to become a new performance venue. The project aims to balance contemporary entertainment requirements with the preservation of the building's historical identity.

Architect André Henning, responsible for the interior architecture, is working alongside architect João Uchôa, who conceived the general architectural design. The renovation includes the development of internal environments, social areas, dressing rooms, an annex, facade elements, and the requalification of the main entrance.

To maintain a connection to the building's past, the design incorporates contemporary reinterpretations of original elements, such as using the red color from the building's former tiles in modern furniture and interior details.
