CineFest honors Danis Tanović as European Cinema Ambassador

Dafoe, known for his work with directors such as Yorgos Lanthimos and Wes Anderson, discussed the fictionalized elements of the film, which draws inspiration from the life of Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis.

Tanović also reflected on his connections to the film industry, mentioning his friendship with the late Hungarian director Béla Tarr and the influence of various cinematic works on personal storytelling.
