Cinema and media discussions in France and Belgium

Various cultural events and broadcasts are scheduled in France and Belgium focusing on cinema and social issues. In Saint-Gilles, Belgium, a screening of Tom Adjibi’s film ‘Ceci n’est pas un film français’ will be followed by an interactive debate led by Estelle Depris. The discussion aims to address systemic racism, power dynamics, and the decentralization of whiteness within the film industry.

In France, television programming includes the telefilm ‘Au sein des autres,’ directed by Vania Leturcq, which explores a romance between two cancer patients. Other broadcasts include David Fincher’s thriller ‘The Game’ and a documentary examining the cultural exception and the historical battle to protect French cinema.
