Cinema concert screenings expand with upcoming shows from Jovanotti and Ultimo
The trend of broadcasting live concerts in cinemas is expanding, offering fans a way to experience major musical events on the big screen. Upcoming autumn schedules include screenings for artists such as Jovanotti, Ultimo, Linkin Park, Oasis, and Katy Perry.
Specific upcoming releases include Linkin Park’s documentary ‘Unshatter’ from September 30 to October 3, and Katy Perry’s ‘The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris’ available in over 70 countries. Additionally, Queen’s legendary 1986 Budapest concert is set to return to theaters on October 7 after 40 years. Jovanotti will present ‘Lorenzo – L’incredibile avventura di Jovanotti’ in late November, while Ultimo’s ‘Ultimo 2026 – la favola per sempre’ is scheduled for late September.
This phenomenon reflects a broader evolution in the entertainment industry where physical and digital experiences increasingly coexist. While large-scale live tours continue to draw massive crowds and drive local economic activity, the definition of ‘live’ is expanding to include interactive digital formats and cinematic projections, blurring the lines between physical presence and remote participation.
