The 19th annual Cinema Diverse: The Palm Springs LGBTQ+ Film Festival is scheduled to take place over two weekends, September 17–20 and September 24–27, 2026, at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.

The festival lineup includes a variety of features, shorts, and documentaries from both established and emerging filmmakers. The opening night documentary, ‘Mineshaft: The Cruising Murders’ by Emmy-winning director Jeffrey Schwarz, examines the real-life murders that inspired William Friedkin’s film ‘Cruising’ and the subsequent protests. Other notable screenings include ‘Armani and the Birth of Italian Fashion,’ a documentary featuring an interview with Giorgio Armani.

The Hollywood Times has announced its role as an official media partner for the event, providing coverage through filmmaker interviews, film reviews, and photography.
