Cinema events scheduled at Villa Lazzaroni and Villa La Colombaia

Various cultural initiatives are bringing cinema to public spaces across Italy. In Rome, the Cinevillage at Villa Lazzaroni will host outdoor screenings from June 7 to September 6, 2026. The program includes Italian and international productions, with special pricing for European and Italian films through the Ministry of Culture’s ‘Cinema Revolution’ campaign. The event also features discussions with film professionals and cultural meetings.

In Forio, Ischia, the PopCorn Stories event will take place from August 30 to September 2 at Villa La Colombaia, the former home of Luchino Visconti. Directed by Peppe Lanzetta, the series features conversations with various film industry figures, including Edoardo De Angelis, Giovanni Esposito, and Edgardo Pistone, to discuss the evolution of filmmaking and storytelling.
