Cinema season continues at Castello dell'Imperatore through September

The open‑air cinema at the Castello dell'Imperatore in Prato remains in operation for the entire month of August and will run until 7 September, with nightly screenings at 21:30. The programme mixes recent releases such as Steven Spielberg’s *Disclosure Day*, the sci‑fi adventure *Project Hail Mary* starring Ryan Gosling, *The Secret Agent*, *The Red Hangar* by Juan Pablo Sallato, *Un anno di scuola*, *La mattina scrivo* and the children’s film *Minions & Monsters*.

Four evenings feature guest presenters: actress Monica Guerritore will host a screening dedicated to Anna Magnani on 4 August; documentary filmmaker Raha Shirazi presents *A War on Women* on 28 August; actor Massimiliano Motta introduces the noir comedy *Ultimo schiaffo* on 7 August; and Sofia d’Elia leads a showing of Isabel Coixet’s *Tre Ciotole* on 27 August. Special classic screenings include Hayao Miyazaki’s *Princess Mononoke*, restored versions of *Eyes Wide Shut*, *Viale del Tramonto* and *Un sacco bello*, as well as themed evenings on photography and literature.
