Cinema Teatro Don Bosco hosts film premiere and receives redevelopment funds

The Cinema Teatro Don Bosco is the focus of both a major film premiere and significant infrastructure funding. In Rome, the theater will host the national premiere of the film ‘Dio ride’ on October 4, 2026. The event will feature a live Q&A session with director Giovanni Veronesi and actor Pierfrancesco Favino, following the film's selection as the closing film for the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

Separately, Senator Elena Murelli has announced that 500,000 euros have been allocated for the redevelopment of the Cinema-Teatro Don Bosco in Podenzano. The funding, distributed in equal installments across 2026 and 2027, is intended for structural, technological, and energy efficiency upgrades, as well as fire prevention measures. This funding follows a correction in the budget text to ensure the resources are used for functional repurposing rather than just routine maintenance.
