Cinema’Jet festival brings mobile cinema to Jendouba
The third edition of the Cinema’Jet cultural festival is scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 11 in the Jendouba governorate, including areas such as Tabarka, Fernana, Beni Mtir, and Ain Sultan. Organized by the Cinema Tedor initiative in partnership with the European Union and local authorities, the mobile festival aims to decentralize culture by bringing film screenings and artistic activities to public spaces outside of traditional cinemas.
The program features free outdoor screenings, workshops in filmmaking, contemporary dance, theater, and immersive experiences using augmented and virtual reality. Specific activities include a folklore performance by the Polish group LA KOMPANIJA, workshops for students, and specialized sessions for people with disabilities, including those with hearing impairments, in collaboration with local associations.
Following a previous session in Zaghouan that attracted over 2,500 participants, this edition continues to focus on community engagement through mobile cinema buses and diverse cultural programming for children and adults alike.
