Cineroost joins producers on Prateek Vats’ ‘Chronicles of a Confession’

The upcoming film ‘Chronicles of a Confession’, directed by Prateek Vats, has secured US-based Cineroost as a producer. Led by Kavita Gupta, the company will provide global representation and support for the film’s production and US market entry.

Executive producers for the project include Payal Kapadia and Anurag Kashyap. The film, written by Vidur Nauriyal, Vats, and Shubham, follows a Kashmiri shawl seller who confesses to a crime he did not commit, triggering an unforeseen chain of events. The script was previously selected for the Busan International Film Festival’s Asian Cinema Fund.

Production is a collaborative effort involving Flip Films, Dubai’s Action Filmz, India’s Etched Films, and Khan & Kumar Productions. Filming is scheduled to begin in early November.
