Ciney named Walloon Lighthouse City for 2026 Weekend du Client

Ciney has been designated as the ‘Ville Phare’ (Lighthouse City) for Wallonia for the 2026 Weekend du Client. The event, scheduled for October 3 and 4, 2026, marks the tenth anniversary of this national commercial operation.

As a designated Lighthouse City, Ciney will host various animations centered around local businesses to promote independent retailers and increase foot traffic in the city center. Ciney shares this specific label for the Walloon region with Schaerbeek in Brussels and Roulers in Flanders.
