Cinisello Balsamo celebrates 98 years of municipal unification

Cinisello Balsamo is marking the 98th anniversary of the unification of the municipalities of Cinisello and Balsamo, an event originally established by Royal Decree in 1928. To commemorate this milestone, a conference titled “Lo sviluppo della città dal secondo dopoguerra” (The development of the city since the second post-war period) will be held on Sunday, September 13, at the Circolo Concordia.

The event will feature institutional greetings from Mayor Giacomo Giovanni Ghilardi and City Council President Angelo Antonio Di Lauro. The program includes various perspectives on local growth, including discussions on housing development, the history of Villa Casati Stampa and Edizioni Paoline, the cultural role of the University of the Third Age, local entrepreneurship, and the impact of sports on community cohesion.
